For they 1981 model year, Pontiac built exactly 3,023 Trans Ams equipped with the Chevrolet 305 cubic in. V-8 and the 4-speed manual transmission. (THIS IS ONE OF 3,023)
With only 8,711 miles ! We believe there have only been 2 owners of this car. This car has never been restored... SURVIVOR!
These Trans Ams were built without decals!
The manual mandate: The 4-speed transmission was only paired with the Chevy 305 engine. The only way to get a 4-speed in California in 1981 was with this Chevy 305 engine.
Special Edition: Out of these 3,023 units, 477 were the highly sought after black special edition (often referred to as Bandit) equipped with the 305 engine 4-speed.
We believe this car was ordered with AM/FM radio delete and decal delete. (which has a AM/FM Pioneer cassette at this time.
